Penelope Chilvers Bespoke Loafers

When I saw this picture at Fashion Foie Gras I fell in love. I have been looking for the perfect pair of slippers for a while now, and it's been a tough journey: on the one hand, I love all the coloured/glitter/studded stand out versions, but on the other hand, I want them to be able to be my go-to flat, and so be a basic that can go with any outfit. These ones seem to be the perfect solution! They are a neutral colour, but with a neon lining! Perfect! They can even be made with your initials sewn on. It's a bespoke service where you can create your own online. I played around for a bit and mine came out looking something like this. Unfortunately they are not within my student budget, so I may have to wait and see if my lovely parents will get me them for my birthday! Check the site out yourself here.

    I love the idea of designing my own pair of loafers - I feel the same as you, if I buy a pair, they should be a basic, go-to shoe that can be worn with anything. As appealing and fun as glitter is, it just doesn't work every day. I hope you'll open a box holding these on your birthday!
