That oversized pink coat

With fashion week having moved on to Europe, and thus to colder weather, the fashion show attendees are giving us some amazing inspirational looks for Autumn! There are two trends that have already become so big that they seem to already have achieved the status of being the defining looks for a/w 2013: tartan and the oversized pale pink coat. Such a girly item can be tricky to wear, so I was delighted to discover this editorial from Marie Claire UK, which shows exactly how to pull it off, as well as highlight some more subtle hues which create a similar statement.     It's so big this year which I am a fan of but don't you wonder who decides these things? It's so crazy...everything is dark for Fall and then we have pink coats.

    What a gorgeous post although a little torturous as there's only maybe one day a year that it's cold enough to wear a rain coat (maybe) so all those kinds of pretty things go unworn in my closet. It's lovely to dream though!
