Lou Doillon for Vogue Turkey

As some of you may know, I am currently living in Istanbul. Somewhat surprisingly, there are lots of great fashion sources here. There are a few great high street brands, and the magazines are so good! This month's Vogue Turkey features this whimsically beautiful shoot with Lou Doillon. From the styling to the setting, all of this is simply breathtaking. If there is one thing I cannot resist it is rich fabrics in vivid hues.. Seen on each and every single fashion week attendee last month, it is bound to make its way to high street retailers in no time. But as Pandora Sykes (below) pointed out: the best, and cheapest, ones can be found second-hand. And when Pandora Sykes tells you where she finds her fashion staples, you follow that advice! The girl knows how to find the best items of any trend. So I did a little looking around online and found some absolute gems! Sheer layering inspiration: Iceberg s/s 2014

I have nothing but praise for Alexis Martial's first collection for Iceberg. It may not have been the most ground-breaking or innovative collection in terms of design, but the styling was so perfectly modern and wearable - every single look would be an instant streetstyle hit. My favourite part of the collection was the draping of different sheer materials over pretty prints, managing to make the looks feel playful and hip without being too risqué.
